#Standing Rock Will Vote
The North Dakota state legislature passed a law that negatively affects voters that do not have identification that includes a street address. Many voters that live on reservations in North Dakota, including the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, have never had a street address. Per past practices, most mail on our tribal land is delivered to PO Boxes. Also, there has never been a comprehensive effort to assign addresses to all properties on our tribal lands. We seek to help all eligible voters to overcome all the barriers that have been put into place that make it difficult for them to exercise their right to vote.
