Media Psychology Across Cultures – Phase 2
My project focuses on the emerging field of media psychology, which applies the theoretical foundations of psychology to real-world media in order to understand its effect on human behavior and interaction. I propose to engage in a two-phase comprehensive study of the psychological aspects and impacts of media over generations and cultures.
Phase 2 will explore the impact of the rapid evolution of media on various cultures, including their media consumption habits and preferred means of communication. Cultures will be analyzed with respect to their use of and relationship to media.
