After establishing our foundations in AKAR Vol 01: Foundations, then moving through the ebb and flow of life in AKAR Vol 02: Motion, we have a great idea and theme for our third print issue. This next issue will build on our current issue, as we seek to explore collective action and ways in which people seek to be heard. We plan to reach out to a traditional arts collective based in Malaysia, indigeneous artists from Asia and Polynesia, poets and writers from Cambodia and Myanmar, and of course literary and art activists from Singapore. We want to take our next issue to a whole new level.
