Act Now Advocacy Podcast
I used to be someone who was so scared to use my voice, who didn’t know how to get out and advocate in my community, and didn’t have the confidence to publicly be myself. Thankfully, I started advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights and successfully traveled 40,000 miles across the state of Indiana to advocate for keeping Arts alive and funded in schools. Not only was I able to make a difference, but using my voice made a difference for me. Being an advocate changed my confidence level and helped be brave coming out as pansexual in a very conservative community. This life changing work made me realize I wanted to show others how easy it is to use their voices and advocate for something they are passionate about. Therefore, my podcast is born. We have been able to produce a few episodes but in order to really make quality content to inspire our next generation of advocates, we need equipment.
