Did you know that 75+ people who are buried in Green Mount Cemetery have published food recipes? This initiative will create a book and organize a tour based on the people and recipes. The book will not only include old recipes but bios of the people and stories about their lives (including whether their kitchens were enabled by the labor of enslaved people, with information about that history), art related to Victorian burial customs and the burial location in the cemetery. The book will be distributed to tour participants and made available to others.
