We want to feed children for free this summer! Recently the USDA has communicated to school food service operations that they are allowed to serve free meals during the summer as a grab and go service in communities that are considered rural. Ipswich meets this criteria! The Triton Food Service Department (of Triton Regional School District) plans to set up free meal service for all children in Ipswich. We will be setting up at the Ipswich Utilities Department, where families can come and get a free breakfast and free lunch every day. On Fridays, we can give out 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches for the weekend. We also may be setting up in a second location, pending approval.

This awesome project fights food insecurity and allows for children to eat healthy meals all summer long. We plan to advertise and market the program to reach as many families in and surrounding Ipswich.
