Last October, the interns of the Sasha Bruce Landscape Training Program and volunteers planted thousands of tulip bulbs on the Sasha Bruce House property at 1022 Maryland Avenue NE during an event called Tulipalooza!. In addition to planting bulbs, volunteers carved pumpkins and supported the mission of Sasha Bruce Youthwork to end youth homelessness. In April 2024, Tulipalooza! The Blooming saw volunteers return to celebrate the spectacular display they created as well as install fresh mulch and paint Love Rocks.

Tulipalooza! was so well received that volunteers have asked to once again participate in the dual events. Tulipalooza REDUX has been scheduled for Saturday, November 2.
