Sobre Nós
The London Chapter - We give £1000 awards every other month! From all the submissions we shortlist 3 - 5 projects and invite them to explain their project at a pitch night - these are usually held at Makerversity. Pitchers get 5 minutes to present and then field questions from the floor for another 10. Anyone is welcome to come and find out more. Follow @Awesome_London for updates and pitch night dates.
If you are thinking of applying, the previous winners are shown on the chapter page and give a good idea of what kind of projects are funded.
We like to fund interesting, innovative projects towards the beginning of their development, and it's a bonus if our £1000 will push them on to the next phase. Most projects to be funded also have a social bent or are not-for-profit, though anything can go!
