Pennwood Portraits is a series of sculptural busts being made of residents of the Pennwood Nursing Home in Wilkinsburg.

The act of sculpting a portrait bust is normally not seen by bystanders. It is a way to connect with the residents, hear their stories, be present with them, and share their space. The project, at its core, is about sharing time and creating reciprocity for the residents.
