Top 100 Award Ceremony
Each year the Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes our Top 100 students for their scholastic achievements. Due to the current pandemic and protocols in place we have had to eliminate a dinner normally served to the recipients and their family members. As we try to think "outside of the box" in order to provide them with a ceremony and an experience that is in no way "less" than a normal year, one of the experiences we would like to provide the students with is a "sweet treat" following the conclusion of the outdoor ceremony being held at Alexander Stadium. The Chamber would like to provide each student with a ticket that would allow them to purchase an ice cream treat from Susie's Big Dipper food truck. This would be a nice end to the recognition celebration and would also be beneficial to one of our small businesses hit by the protocols in place which has eliminated so many events that would have involved their food truck. The ticket provided to the student would indicate that the "sweet treat" is being provided through the generosity of an Awesome Piqua grant.
