Seats of the City is an opportunity to preserve pieces of Miami's history and place them in public, historically and culturally significant locations. Our mission is to help locals and tourists gain a more profound appreciation of Miami's architectural history, artistic prowess, and technological contributions.

Fully assembled seats salvaged from the Marine Stadium will be transformed by artists, and placed in publicly accessible locations. An integral component involves augmented reality, which will allow viewers to experience the various iterations of the Miami Marine Stadium over the years through their smartphones, using archival footage from HistoryMiami and other organizations.
