Pre COVID 19 we partnered with a local grocery store through their Shares program to provide FREE groceries, which included fresh produce and vegetables along with fresh chicken, steaks and salmon. We served in Ward 8 and 7 in the lowest food deserts in Washington DC. We also provided this program to small church congregations in Maryland.

Due to the shortage of food during this time, we have been unable to provide the food through The Shares program with the grocery store to the community.

By awarding us the grant funds we will be able to serve the families with fresh produce and vegetables for a week. We also include fresh cut flowers to add a smile to the participants faces.
