PetHomeStay makes it easier and cheaper for people to own pets. People can search our website for local people willing to help them, a bit like a local Airbnb for pets.

We believe that PetHomeStay has the potential to arrest the decline in pet ownership in Australia, increase interaction between neighbours, and perhaps make a more empathic society for our children and older people.

PetHomeStay only launched in Melbourne in September and now has 250+ registered users, with 100+ HomeStays around the city.

People can find friendly local people near to them that would like to look after their pets, or exchange pet care for free.
