CircEsteem is seeking to partner with My Block, My Hood, My City in order to bring groups from all across Chicago to our headquarters in Uptown, for a Social Circus Experience. The Explorers program, created by MBMYMC endeavors to provide young people with experiences they might otherwise never have; tied to individuals, professions and organizations that make Chicago great. In Partnership with CircEsteem, we'll be able to expose groups of students to our unique brand of social circus who live in West and South Side neighborhoods.
Students will be transported to our headquarters, Dip their toe into the foundations of Circus Skills, be provided a meal and transported safely back home. Our Teaching Artists are professional circus performers and talented instructors of a variety of skills, including but not limited to: Juggling, Trapeze, Acrobatics, Aerial Silks, German Wheel, Mini Trampoline, Clowning and more!
We hope for this partnership to become a very textbook example of serving CircEsteem's mission: bringing youth together through the practice and performance of Circus Arts.
