Art Gallery at Waverley Park Homestead
Willunga National Trust is in the process of creating an Art Gallery in Waverley Park Homestead at Willunga. It will be open on three afternoons each week (Fri, Sat and Sun) from 1pm to 4pm. The artworks are not-for-sale and entry is free. The Heritage Art program is run by a team of 15 volunteers who are of various ages from 20s to 70s. This is an opportunity to pass on valuable skills associated with research, writing and hanging artworks from one generation to another.
Our first exhibition is the Jane Price Retrospective showing watercolours of the cultural landscapes and built heritage of the local area by Jane Price (1933-2020). New exhibitions featuring local both living and deceased artists are planned for every three months (4 per year).
