If you have lived in Fargo long enough you will have heard " there is not much to do around here" and this is my rebuttal that mindset. This project will be a month-long bicycle tour of bike trials near Fargo, celebrating alternative transportation. I will utilize state and local bike trails to traverse ~1500 miles, stopping to photograph breathtaking sceneries and historic infrastructure, while also highlighting the ability to reach these locations all on a bicycle. Biking an average of 55 miles a day will allow this project to capture a multitude of breathtaking locations while leaving enough time to engage with the local communities and capture their stories and offerings. The bike tour will use 600+ miles of trial going through major cities like Duluth, St. Paul, Bemidji, Rochester, Park Rapids, St. Cloud, Sauk Center, Detroit Lakes and many more. All of this starting from my doorstep on Fargo. I want to prove that, with some camping gear and a bike, an average person can get out and rediscover nature!
