“Demons in Pittsburgh featuring Kleztronica” is an experimental Jewish dance party set to captivate all ages with explorations of Jewish mysticism and Yiddish culture through communal text study, music, and puppetry. The event features local Jewish artists in collaboration with Kleztronica, a collective of east coast artists blending Jewish folk and liturgical music with house and techno.

This event will provide the local Pittsburgh Jewish community and its supporters with an opportunity to celebrate diasporic Jewish identities and cultures that are being created in the present. Many queer Jews in town are hungry for more opportunities to gather with one another outside of traditional Jewish spaces. Many non-Jews with Jewish friends and family are curious to see what new Jewish art is being created in this day and age. Throughout the evening, guests will be encouraged to participate through discussion, collective singing, and circle dances.
