Take back joy, one pop at a time!

Mindful Bubbles is a quirky little project designed to inject some joy and silliness into the everyday grind. Armed with bubble wands and a sign that boldly proclaims, "Adults Can Play Too," I set up shop in public spaces, inviting anyone who’s willing to stop and stare to make, chase, pop, or just watch bubbles float by. There’s no agenda—just bubbles, laughter, and zero productivity expectations. Think of it as a brief rebellion against the chaos of adulting, one bubble at a time.

The whole thing started during the pandemic when I was in the depths of anxiety and needed something to calm my brain. After experimenting with different bubble solutions (yes, there’s more than one kind), I discovered that making bubbles was the ultimate stress buster. It turned into my own little mindfulness ritual, helping me stay present and forget about everything else for a while. When I shared this with friends, they were like, “Wait, this is actually awesome,” and I realized—I had to share it with everyone.

Mindful Bubbles is about reminding people that life doesn’t always have to be serious. It’s easy to get caught up in stress and worries, but a bubble—or 50—can offer a quick escape into joy and wonder. By inviting people to play, pop, or just exist with the bubbles, we’re encouraging a moment of mindfulness wrapped in sheer fun. Because let’s face it—life’s a lot more fun when you’re chasing bubbles instead of deadlines. And maybe, just maybe, we’ll all reconnect with our inner child… even if that means getting a little wet in the process.
