Lusio. A Night to Awaken is a one night only, free light art event I produce in Volunteer Park. I have multiple light artists install light art throughout the park for people to wander and explore for a few hours after dark. It's magical!
Last year was it's debut event and we had 3,000 attending and 10k RSVP's. The entire event was done from a very small budget of 2,000, most of which was out of the pockets of the artists and myself, who is also a struggling artist.
