Chicago Awesome Foundation tips for applications

✅ We especially like projects that are open to the public and/or forge new collaborations or partnerships. Projects must show that they have our community in mind. We consider social impact, benefit to the public, ability to successfully execute, level of collaboration, timeline, and originality in idea.

✅ Projects should be ambitious and also feasible. We look for applicants with a well-defined strategy for how the grant will be used.

✅ We love funding projects that make it obvious that our grant is what’s helping make the project happen. Will our gift be distinguishable amongst your other funders?
