Cultural Renewal
"Cultural Renewal" aims to empower a rural Armenian community by integrating cultural preservation with environmental sustainability through artistic recycling and educational cartoons. Local students and villagers will collaborate to transform recycled materials into vibrant models depicting significant episodes from Armenian history and folklore. Additionally, educational cartoons based on these cultural episodes will be created to educate and inspire about Armenian heritage and environmental stewardship.
Project Objectives:
1.Cultural Preservation through Art: To select and depict key episodes from Armenian history, folklore, and literature through artistic models created from recycled materials.
2.Educational Cartoons: To produce animated educational cartoons based on selected cultural episodes, incorporating themes of Armenian heritage and environmental stewardship.
3.Environmental Education and Action: To introduce waste separation practices in the village and use recycled materials (such as paper, cloth, and plastic) in the creation of artistic models and educational cartoons.
4.Community Engagement and Empowerment: To empower local students and villagers through hands-on workshops and collaborative art projects that enhance cultural awareness, creativity, and environmental stewardship.
5.Scalability and Replication: To document project outcomes and methodologies, enabling replication in other rural communities across Armenia, thereby multiplying its impact and fostering sustainable practices.
Expected Outcomes:
•Creation of artistic models and animated educational cartoons that creatively depict Armenian cultural episodes using locally sourced recycled materials.
•Increased adoption of waste separation practices and enhanced environmental consciousness among villagers, contributing to cleaner and more sustainable communities.
•Strengthened community cohesion and cultural pride through collaborative art projects, educational cartoons.
