We want to put together a bilingual (Spanish/English) calendar with information about different dates in 2020 such as when to register to vote, where to go vote, when the local, state and national election dates are, etc.
The calendar will be distributed throughout the city and can be utilized as a reminder for people to become more engaged in civic life.
A group of local artists will help illustrate the pages and other local organizations will contribute the content. We will also collaborate with the Alaska Center and Native People Action Group.
The Presidential Election next year is an important event for which ALL people eligible to vote should get involved. The calendar's goal is to inform, educate and mobilize people to get out and vote.
