Pedals for Purpose
Pedals for Purpose is a not-for-profit organization started by two Sarnia Police Officers, Fraser Moore and Ryan LeBlanc. This initiative is collecting donations of new and used bicycles from members of the community, and donating them to disadvantaged youth who may not otherwise have the means to own a bicycle of their own. Pedals for Purpose was created to address a number of issues and obstacles observed in the community such as: physical and mental wellbeing amongst youth, the positive environmental impact cycling presents, the freedom and opportunity owning a bicycle allows youth to have, and the financial obstacles some parents may face in purchasing bicycles.
