After a year spent inside due to the horrific COVID-19 Pandemic, the Chamber Artists of Southeast Michigan (CASM) are hoping to rejuvenate the spirit of the community we serve through live “pop” up concerts in the month of June. Our hope is to offer 4 concerts at various outdoor venues or community spaces so we are able to safely perform for a socially distanced audience in a way that is still intimate and special. Each concert will feature two 30-minute sets spaced out by 15 min to allow people to distance appropriately, come and go as they please, and enjoy a moment of musical repose during their day. Musical selections will include popular favorites, works by composers of diverse backgrounds, and recognizable classical favorites chosen to inspire happy memories and feelings of joy! Sometimes the most awesome thing we can do for our fellow humans is to engage and entertain them in a way that allows them to escape into their dreams.
