Marzipan Sculpting Workshop with Daniel Giordano
Marzipan is made of almonds and sugar, and makes for a perfect raw material to mold and shape forms. (Like Play-Doh, but safe to eat!)
I would like to hold a free public Marzipan sculpting workshop. Participants are welcome to bring their own approach to sculpting and coloring marzipan using food dye, carving tools, and their hands to create edible sculptures in forms of their choosing.
This event will be open to all ages, and participants are welcome to eat their creations on site, or take them home. An almond allergy alternative will also be available: persipan is derived from apricot kernels.
