mySight (Homelessness Blinders street theater)
mySight is a satirical concept art project that draws attention to solutions to the homelessness problem in San Francisco.
This project pitches mySight, a new tech-forward solution to the homeless crisis. The product, a set of blinders, allows people to "solve" the homeless crisis by pretending unhoused people don't exist. Using a website, promotional video, and street performance, our satirical company uses humor to spark dialogue about real solutions, including speaking with voters about passing Prop C. At all events, supplies including water, socks, and food are distributed to unhoused people.
mySight has launched product demos in front of the Twitter building and at Dolores Park, and hosted a press conference in front of City Hall. Follow mySight on Facebook to see more photos and get invitations to upcoming events!
