I’ve written and illustrated a children’s book titled “Kelly and the Great Pinewood Derby.” It was inspired by my Uncle Kelly who had Down syndrome. My goal is to teach children how to show love and compassion to those who may look or act differently. And this book is doing very well.

I’m in the process of writing my second book in the Kelly series “Kelly and the Space Cadets” where Kelly meets an employed man with Down syndrome who works at the local planetarium as a curator. Giving Kelly hope that he can one day have a successful job. At the back of every Kelly book is a free downloadable song that helps kids relate to the topic of Down syndrome.

I’m a public speaker and go into elementary schools and schools for those with special needs.
