I have switched between many DAWs (digital audio workstation) including Garageband (https://www.apple.com/au/ios/garageband/) on the iPad and Bandlab (https://www.bandlab.com/finnytothemax) on the computer.
I got an AKAI MPK mini for Christmas and I use with Bandlab. I also used my Christmas money to buy a Numark Party Mix.
I put my songs up on Spotify, iTunes and more platforms with the use of Routenote.com. They put it up for free but take 15% of the royalties. I have only earnt about $2 because spotify pays the artist about 0.4 of a cent for each stream.
