Birdie on the Mountain is the hopeful first in a new series of annual music festivals, bringing together hundreds of members of the Centre County community in support of fundraising efforts for multiple nonprofit organizations. The event was conceived as a way to honor lost friends, and to finally be able to gather together to celebrate their lives and legacies as we were unable to safely do during two years of social distancing. We're bringing dozens of local bands and musicians to the amphitheater at Tussey Mountain, as well as a variety of local food truck businesses, to create a new tradition to kick off the summer season for State College.
