The Alzheimer's Association Illinois Chapter in Partnership with the National Museum of Mexican Art and local artist (Gabriel Moreno) have come together to create an ofrenda honoring those who have passed away from Alzheimer's and dementia.

To celebrate the ofrenda, we will also be hosting a community event which will be free to attendees. For everyone who comes to see the ofrenda, they will also have the chance to upload a picture of their own loved one who has passed from the disease to our digital ofrenda (https://alzheimers-illinois.org/Ofrenda/).

Throughout this project, we hope to raise awareness of the free bilingual resources that the Alzheimer's Association can provide to family members in the Hispanic/Latino community.
