Our project, Family Preparedness Clinics, will provide immigrant families in Newburgh with free legal resources and assistance to ensure they are prepared for emergencies. Many families in our community face uncertainty due to immigration status, legal challenges, or unexpected life events. These clinics will help them create essential legal documents such as power of attorney, caregiver affidavits, and emergency plans to protect their children and loved ones.

Through these clinics, families will receive guidance from trained professionals, notarized documents, and clear action plans so they can make informed decisions about their future. Language barriers often prevent families from accessing these resources, so we will also provide interpretation and translation services to ensure accessibility for all.

Funding from the Awesome Foundation- Newburgh chapter will help us cover printing materials, notarization fees, outreach efforts, and interpretation services, allowing us to serve more families in need. By supporting this project, you will help immigrant families in Newburgh gain peace of mind and security, knowing they have a plan in place to protect their children and assets in times of crisis.
