Making On-Demand Animal Law CLEs Accessible
I am an intern for the Center For Animal Law Studies on Lewis and Clark Law Campus this year. We are working independently from the university to create an interactive Continuing Legal Education program for lawyers in the Portland area, as well as around the country. The focus is on Animal Law. Animal law is an expansive field ranging from local anti-cruelty and other animal related statutes to animal welfare in zoos and in research facilities to wildlife conservation. We want to make it so that existing attorneys are able to get general required CLE credits while learning the tools to better be able to help the animals in the area.
