The company is able to provide a wide range of mobility equipment including mobility scooters, power-chairs, wheelchairs, rise and recliner chairs, walking and bath aids alongside other accessories.
We also offer a repair and maintenance service all equipment repaired has a quality assurance guarantee along with a three months warranty.
RMC provides an alternative to the purchase of new equipment that can be up to two thirds of the original price, also offering opportunity to a pay-up scheme with no interest charges. We look to raise awareness of our services through our website, social media, hospital advertising, leaflet drops, word of mouth and by partnering with organisations which share interest or outcome with ourselves.
Through good support from the public, who donate mobility equipment that is no longer required so that someone else may benefit; the income generated from this source allows the company to extend employment, volunteering and training opportunities to as wide a sector of the community as possible. This would embrace sections that might find accessing employment challenging and would include young people applying through community jobs, older retired adults and those affected by disabilities or refugee status. For example in the care sector with community care choice – in the training sector with Strathclyde university, or in the environmental protection sector with Zero Waste Scotland.
