A Dragon Dreaming Community Fund

Hello Dragon Dreaming community!
If you have already been practicing Dragon Dreaming, you are right at home! We are basically a group of Dragon Dreaming practitioners who contribute monthly with a financial value within our balance point to finance Dragon Dreaming projects around the world.
You can help to finance this fund by setting up a recurring donation on Open Collective. . If you want to go further and become a trustee, helping to run the fund and to evaluate proposals, lets talk! Please send an email to dragondreamingus@gmail.com.
How does it work?
In a very simple way!
- You submit your project here..
- We, the trustees, will meet (about once monthly) to evaluate the proposals received and distribute the funds available to projects.
- If you receive a grant, we celebrate it here and with the Dragon Dreaming community and transfer the money to you.
Which kind of project do you accept?
Dragon Dreaming projects follow these principles:
- Personal Growth - Commitment to your own healing and empowerment
- Community Building - Strengthening the communities of which you are a part
- Service to the Earth - Enhancing the wellbeing and flourishing of all life
We are happy to evaluate any project, but anticipate being specially open to funding travel grants to Dragon Dreaming gatherings, scholarships for Dragon Dreaming workshops, seed money for projects created with Dragon Dreaming, funding of Empty Centred Organizations or the ConFestival , publications, documentaries and art related to Dragon Dreaming.
How much are the grants?
We have capped a grant to $ 1000 (euros or dollars, whatever...) per project but are more likely to fund projects that asks for less than that. The same project can apply more than once and ask for different things, though.
Where does the money come from?
Our own not so deep pockets! In the end of the day, we are just a bunch of people pooling money together to advance projects that we believe will make a difference in the world.

What is the selection process?
We read the projects, meet online and have a conversation.
Do I need to send a report after being selected?
Nope. Although we are always happy to see photos and to get news from projects to celebrate.
