Nesian Markets is a makers market focused on small businesses and local artists/artisans that sell Pacific Islander goods and services/food. There are many Lake Macquarie locals with Pacific Islander roots who love to sell their merchandise but aren't as successful at a normal market because their small businesses are more appealing to other Pacific Islanders. Nesian Market welcomes all and invites the whole community to participate in a market day focused on Pacific Island culture. It would be an awesome project because it is another event that brings the whole community together to enjoy Pacific Islander food, music, entertainment and more!
