For the last few years, I have been running programs for Step It Up Inc. Step It Up provides career resources to homeless and at-risk youth around Portland. This fall we launched a new podcasting program that provides valuable career skills to young people in the St Johns neighborhood.

Over the next few months, 10 young people will be working to create, produce, and publish several episodes of a podcast.

Students in this program will learn valuable life and career skills like:

• Public Speaking -Marketing -Self Confidence -Interviewing -Networking

In addition to learning valuable job skills, each student will be able to creatively express themselves through storytelling, writing, and design.
