Paper Flower Installation at PDX
Imagine a fanciful journey through Forest Park and into the Rose Garden, created entirely from paper. You are lost in a forest of paper ferns and evergreens, and emerge to find yourself surrounded by hundreds of hand cut paper roses. Along the way, you discover giant paper mâché mushrooms and delicate crepe paper butterflies.
I was selected by the Portland International Airport to create an installation in a glass display case that is 39' long x 4' deep x 9' high. The installation will be up for one year starting in April 2019 and will potentially be seen by 20 million travelers.
