My business partner and I are interested in developing tourism in Armenia.

I am from Echmiadzin and my business partner is from the United States. I have long been interested in developing tourism in my own country as I have seen the potential to not be met. She is from Richmond, Virginia and is a well-known travel blogger (meganstarr.com) who first came here in 2013 and fell in love with the country and its people. She has continued to return and we decided it was time to take action and do something to encourage tourism in Armenia and make it easier for travelers to come here and get around without problems.

We founded absoluetarmenia.com (https://www.facebook.com/absolutearmenia/) last year and are trying to get it launched. We want to provide practical information for traveling in Armenia, but also eventually have a focus on independent businesses and individuals in the near future. We want people to come to Armenia for more than just a quick jaunt from Tbilisi to check off a country from their list. We want to focus on wine, food, and nature tourism and really highlight villages and some of the more rural areas that make this happen.

We were on Forbes and the BBC.

We have been active in promoting small businesses around the world and in different locations. We just wrote Fodor's Travel 'Essential Norway' book where we pitched several independent businesses. We also just helped promote small businesses in Gyumri in Forbes. It is something we are extremely passionate about.
