Georgetown Parks and Rec has recently requested an ADA committee( American Disability Act) to be formed to help get the American Legion Park up to compliance in accordance to the New Federal ADA laws. Although the park is newly refinished in 2015 , it is not inclusive or accessible for most differently able child. The committee has been formed and are seeking funds to support the cost to remodel the park.
