Warmer On The Water
Outside Adventures runs kids and teens canoeing and kayaking classes year round. Many of their participants who love these classes have tried multiple other sports and groups and haven't stuck with them because they don't feel comfortable in those environments. Their sessions are very inclusive which has allowed these kids to thrive.
This year it has been very cold and they have found that some of our participants who love paddling and being out on the water can't afford to purchase the appropriate clothing to keep warm on the water in winter. This means that we can't let them on the water due to safety concerns.
The Warmer On The Water project has helped solve this issue by buying clothing that participants can use free of charge that keeps them warm on the water in winter.
