As the School Resource Officer for the Georgetown Schools, School Safety is my number one priority. If a serious event such as an active shooter ever occurred in town, the aftermath of reunifying students with their parents is crucial.

These reunification kits are equipped with items such as safety vests, information cards to be filled out by parents (so they can provide demographics of the child they are picking up) caution tape, first aid kids, clip boards, binders that provide different officers with specific roles to play in the reunification process. Plus many other important items

The reunification process is the second most important event after a critical incident. Having these kits will allow for a smooth and safe transition from school to parents.
