My big idea is to organize an empowering event called "Like A Queen" dedicated to celebrating the power, resilience, and strength of Ukrainian displaced people. This event aims to benefit the Ukrainian women living in Liverpool, particularly those who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict or other adverse circumstances.

The event will not only serve as a source of inspiration and empowerment for the Ukrainian displaced community but also as an opportunity for them to connect with each other. We will empower the Ukrainian women by hosting an event in our community space where we will hold this wellbeing day were we will provide: nutritional food, make-up pampering bags, childcare provision, wellbeing hand massages for 13 women. The space will be welcoming and atmospheric, benefitting from room decorations, relaxing music, positive feelings and comfortable, safe settings. I was grateful to receive the 'Highly Commended' Employee of the Year 2023 award from Knowsley Business Chamber that highlighted the impact our work has had to people in need and I am proud of the resilience and engagement that the community has worked hard on together to achieve so much in such a short space of time, this funding would help to continue this work.

By bringing them together in this context, you're not only celebrating their individual achievements but also fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among peers who have shared similar experiences and challenges. It's an opportunity for them to connect, bond, and support each other in a positive and uplifting environment

I am very passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of Ukrainian ladies. Together, we can amplify their voices, uplift their stories, and empower them to reclaim their dignity and thrive, like the queens they truly are.
