This September, we're helping to fund a series of live music and dance socials at the Southside Cultural Center of Rhode Island (SCCRI), timed with Hispanic Heritage Month. SCCRI's effort will bring the community together to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of neighborhoods around Trinity Square, the heart of Providence's Latino-American neighborhood. Local Latin bands and small businesses will activate an outdoor lawn, parking lot, and Southlight (SCCRI's outdoor performance venue). Their goal is to highlight a diverse range of Latinx artists, from salsa and bachata bands to individual performers, instrumentalists or vocalists.
