Providence Student Union (PSU) will host their annual youth-led Know Your Rights (KYR) conference in March 2025. The KYR conference inspires young leaders to delve into civics and student rights, envision changes to school policy, learn from each other, and plug into local advocacy and organizing efforts.

Awesome Foundation Rhode Island's support will help the PSU deveopl a more comprehensive conference in response to student feedback. Potential plans include conducting youth-led research and student surveys, increasing turnout, holding a forum to target decision makers, and developing a proposal to expand students’ rights under state law.

The PSU will continue to provide opportunities for young leaders to creatively address issues that impact their lives, explore the intersections of art and activism, and find new opportunities.
