The project is for the creation of a Radio Hub Resource that will act as a resource hub for Birmingham's BAME Elderly community.
We have partnered with Birmingham radio station Unity FM 93.5 to produce a series of bi-monthly shows up until December updating Birmingham's BAME Elderly community about events, resources, emotional information and activities.
Birmingham's BAME Elderly are some of the most vulnerable groups to experience Covid-19. The Radio Hub is effectively a show that will update, assist, resource and reach out to an at the time forgotten community.
Community groups and networks will appear as guests.
