At Good Karma Bikes, we will never turn away a kid in need of a bike. This fall, we have pledged to provide 100+ bikes to children at Cassell School in East San Jose.. The school is currently reporting 55% of their students as chronically absent. That is 48% than the state average. Absenteeism is defined as missing 10 or more instructional school days. Many of these children have parents that work multiple jobs and find themselves struggling to get to school. We have also committed to providing them with helmets and locks.
