Veterans Community Garden
Our project is on Saving Our Tomorrow's community garden located in the City of Poughkeepsie. As a member of the community and founder of the organization, I am passionate about providing a free, safe, and accessible space for individuals, particularly veterans, to plant flowers and vegetables to sustain themselves.
As you may know, our garden is completely unfunded, and we are in dire need of resources to help us sustain our efforts. We are currently seeking assistance with the following items: soil, fertilizer, tools, fencing materials, bushes, seeds, plants, gloves, hats, eyewear, and garden bags.
With your help, we can continue to provide a valuable service to our community. Our garden not only provides healthy and nutritious food options, but it also serves as a therapeutic outlet for individuals to engage in a relaxing and fulfilling activity.
We believe that everyone should have access to fresh produce, regardless of their financial situation. Our garden plots are free, and we strive to make our space as inclusive as possible.
We are committed to maintaining our garden and serving our community for years to come, but we cannot do it alone. We kindly ask for your assistance in providing the resources we need to make our garden a thriving and sustainable community resource.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We hope to partner with you to continue to provide a valuable service to our community.
