Pittsburgh Sk8 Collaborative (PGH SK8) promises to revitalize community spirit and promote active, joyful living throughout Pittsburgh with a Portable Roller Rink Floor.

The portable roller rink floor will offer the flexibility to host roller skating events throughout Pittsburgh in varying locations and venues, such as: local parks, gymnasiums, event spaces, and on protected streets for neighborhood gatherings.

In 2023, PGH SK8 offered a series of low-cost, monthly, outdoor Summer SK8 events for all ages at the Schenley Park Skating Rink. Thanks to a new partnership, beginning in September 2023, monthly indoor Winter SK8 events are being held at Velum Fermentation on the South Side. With a portable roller rink floor, PGH SK8 will have the ability to provide skating in neighborhoods all across the city of Pittsburgh, reaching out to more underserved communities.
